Large Steam Line Break
A double-ended steam line break in the single loop “A” is initiated with area 3000 cm2 inside the containment. After turbine trip and reactor scram with loss of offsite power to stop all MCP’s and feedwater pumps, the SGEC is initiated at about 600 sec to control the intact SG’s pressure at 6.8 MPa. All transient plots are quite comparable to the PSAR’s.
