Component Control
Pumps
Pumps are represented by the following symbol. Various states
of the Pump are shown below. Clicking the left mouse button over
the component changes the state of a Pump.
Clicking the right mouse button over the component sets a
Malfunction for the pump. Checking the Malfunction Active check
box enables the Malfunction. The Pump Capacity is the fraction
of full capaciy. Press the OK button to accept the changes. Press
the Cancel button to cancel the changes.
Valves
Valves are represented by the following symbols. Various states
of the Valves are shown below. Clicking the left mouse button
over the component changes the state of a Valve.
Clicking the right mouse button over the component sets a
Malfunction for the Valve. Checking the Malfunction Active check
box enables the Malfunction. The Valve Position is the fraction
of full open. Press the OK button to accept the changes. Press
the Cancel button to cancel the changes.
Heat exchangers
Heat Exchangers are represented by the following symbol. Various
states of the Heat Exchanger are shown below. Clicking the left
mouse button over component has no effect.

Clicking the right mouse button over the component sets a
Malfunction for the Heat Exchanger. Checking the Malfunction
Active check box enables the Malfunction. The Heat Exchanger
Position is the fraction of full open. Press the OK button to
accept the changes. Press the Cancel button to cancel the changes.
Vacuum breakers
The Vacuum Breakers are represented by the following symbol.
Both states of Vacuum Breaker are shown below. The Left and Right
mouse buttons have no effect on Vacuum Breaker. |

Rupture disks
The Rupture Disks are represented by the following symbol. Both
states of the Rupture Disk are shown below. The Left and Right
mouse buttons have no effect on the Rupture Disk. |

Internal pumps
Internal Recirculation Pumps are represented by the following
symbol. Various states of the Internal Recirculation Pump are
shown below. Clicking the left mouse button over the component
changes the state of a Internal Recirculation Pump. |

Clicking the right mouse button over the component allows
you to change the split (left/right) between the Internal Recirculation
Pumps using the following dialog box. Use the horizontal scroll
bar to change the split. Press the OK button to accept the pump
split. Press the Cancel button to cancel changing the pump split.
Recirculation Pump speed is changed on the Recirculation Panel
using the following control. Press the up and down controls to
change the pump speed.
Safefy relief valve
Safety Relief Valves are represented by the following symbol.
Various states of the Safety Relief Valves are shown below. Clicking
the left mouse button over the component changes the state of
a Safety Relief Valve.
Clicking the right mouse button over the component sets a
Malfunction for the Safety Relief Valve. Checking the Malfunction
Active check box enables the Malfunction. The Valve Position
is the fraction of full open. Press the OK button to accept the
changes. Press the Cancel button to cancel the changes.
